Brooklyn Paper: BBQ OMG! Much-anticipated meatery gearing up for Downtown opening

Real Estate Spotlight: 223 Warren street

In one of the Charming Downtown Neighborhoods Circa 1880 residence has it all- historic details such as pocket doors, inlaid wood flooring, etched glass doors, moldings, original shutters and ornate marble fireplaces as well as modern comforts, such as central air conditioning, top of the line appliances, built-ins throughout and a two story extension. The property has an additional 4,000 square feet of FAR and can be extended as it is on a double lot that is nearly 170 feet deep with the townhouse on Warren Street and the terracotta roofed two-car garage on Verandah Place. Zoned for PS29 and a short walk to Montessori, Packer, Saint Anne’s and Friends. If you don’t know the gem that is Cobble Hill- this property is on a tree-lined brownstone block yet around the corner from the best cafĂ©, restaurants, wine store, cheese shop, butcher, bakery and one block to the F train and is often likened to living in Europe.

New Restaurant in Downtown Brooklyn: "Dining Room"

Dining Room is a new restaurant that just opened up this past weekend. While I don't have a menu to share as of yet, they will be preparing seasonal dishes from locally sourced farms as well as locally brewed beers, local wines, local whiskey's and vodkas as well as some familiar favorites. For the residents of Downtown Brooklyn, this is heaven sent and a welcome addition to the burgoning new collection of retail and restaurant options. Be prepared for more news to come. If your not familiar with where they are located, they are in the former Kevin Barry's space at 56 Willoughby Street. Click the map for a location.
