Let's not allow this opportunity to pass us by. Those of us living and working in Downtown Brooklyn have seen incredible changes to the neighborhood this year. Hotels are sprouting from every corner, residential buildings are filling up at a rampant pace and Dekalb Market was a huge success. Vote now. Be heard. Also, Curbed article reads Shack Shack soon to open. In fact, it's already open and delicious. Much more in the pipeline for 2012.

Willoughby Street getting ready for some heavy demolition in it's near future

(Brownstoner)
This has been a long time coming. I'm really excited to see some action at these properties. The sooner buildings go up here, the better. Although, Avalon has a history of throwing these buildings up pretty quick. Look at how fast the Avalon Fort Greene went up. I blinked and there were people moving in, Quite amazing when you have the funding to get something done.
